Slim Chicken nesting in Memphis

Fayetteville, Arkansas-based Slim Chickens has opened a location in the Memphis suburb of Collierville, Tennessee. DHR Chicken, a seasoned restaurant group, is at the helm of the location, which joins the chain's 120 locations in the U.S., Kuwait and the U.K.

"DHR Chicken are exactly the type of experienced franchise partners that we're looking for as we expand into new territories, both globally and domestically in the United States," Jackie Lobdell, vice president of franchise development at Slim Chickens, said in a company press release. "DHR Chicken's passion for the brand and deep operational experience reflect the qualities we look for in franchise partners."

Slim Chickens has 500 restaurants in development. The brand, which signed a 2019 multi-unit franchise growth initiative to reach 600 units in 10 years, is targeting qualified and experienced multi-unit groups to develop in dynamic markets across the country, according to the release.
