Slapfish opening 2nd Utah unit

Slapfish, founded in 2011 by Chef Andrew Gruel, is opening Saturday in Sandy, Utah, marking the brand's second unit in the state and ninth location overall.

Located at 10431 South State St., the Sandy Slapfish is operated by MeisterBrands, which signed a multi-unit deal with Slapfish last year.

"We couldn’t be more excited for our newest opening in Salt Lake County, said Darryl Neider, owner and principal of MeisterBrands. "Slapfish offers a completely unique dining experience, one that Salt Lake City residents already love, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to spearhead its growth in partnership with Chef Gruel."
