Siftit mobile restaurant ordering platform expanding into Dallas and New Orleans

Atlanta-based Siftit announced plans today to expand into Dallas and New Orleans.

Siftit, a mobile restaurant ordering platform, streamlines and automates ordering for restaurants and suppliers, resulting in time and food cost savings as well as data insights, the company said in a news release. The expansion is fueled by a $4.0 million Series A round of venture capital funding led by TechOperators.

Siftit was founded by Mark Haidet, Alon Goren and John Heyman, part of the same core executive team that grew Radiant Systems into a $400 million restaurant and retail technology company. Radiant Systems was acquired by NCR for $1.4 billion in 2011.
