Fast casual brand Shake Shack intends to increase prices come the fourth quarter, anywhere from 3% to 3.5%, which is about 1% more than its typical annual 2% menu price increase.

The news comes on the heels of financial reports regarding inflation and after the brand already raised prices three times over the past year, according to a New York Post report citing data from Eat This, Not That.

"We'll be evaluating the need for further price increases that might go into effect in 2022, depending on how the cost landscape evolves through the rest of the year," CFO Katherine Fogertey said in a conference call with analysts, according to the news report.
