Shake Shack arrives in Queens as 2016 looms

Shake Shack is opening its last unit of 2015 today at the Queens Center Mall in Queens, New York.

Shake Shack is opening its last unit of 2015 today at the Queens Center Mall in Queens, New York, according to AMNewYork.

Before today's opening, Queens residents could only find the burger joint at the JFK Airport or CitiField outposts.

The new location will serve the chain's standard food and drink menu along with special concretes — including the "World’s Fare," made with locally produced vanilla custard, matcha, marshmallow sauce and crispy crunchies.

Local beers, including Queens Lager, Brooklyn East IPA and Bronx American Pale Ale, in addition to Shake Shack’s Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister, will also be available.
