Shake Shack paying end-of-year bonuses

Shake Shack managers will be bringing home a few extra dollars. The chain said Thursday that it was awarding year-end bonuses to team members ranging from $250 to $400 based on position, according to an email from Shake Shack to FastCasual.

Shake Shack, which had awarded a 10% premium pay on top of hourly wage rates at the end of April and then extended it again through Aug. 19, is now guaranteeing bonus payments to all managers in the Shacks through both Q3 and Q4.

"For Q2 we thanked our team's efforts and hustle with a guaranteed 10% bonus," the email said. "As recognition and a thank you for the incredible grit they continue to demonstrate, we'll also be guaranteeing bonus payments to all managers in the Shacks through both Q3 and Q4."

Shake Shack has more than 280 locations in 30 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, including more than 95 international locations including London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Philippines, Mexico City, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo and Seoul.
