Shake Shack opening in Houston

Shake Shack is coming to downtown Houston, opening Tuesday at 702 Main St,, at the corner of Capital and Main Street, according to a press release.

The 3,242-square-foot location, which includes an outdoor patio, will use tabletops made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes and chairs made from sustainable materials and booths crafted from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

In addition to its standard menu of burgers and shakes, the chain will offer three frozen specialty custard concretes, including:

• Mix-In Control: Vanilla custard, marshmallow sauce, Fluff Bake Bar milk chocolate oatmeal cookie and malt powder.
• Shack Attack: Chocolate custard, fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, Mast Brothers chocolate chunks and chocolate sprinkles.
• Pie Oh My: Vanilla custard blended with pieces of Fluff Bake Bar seasonal pie .

The menu will also feature the Texas-exclusive Lockhart Link Burger, a cheeseburger topped with griddled Kreuz Market jalapeno cheese sausage link, pickles and ShackSauce, according to the release.

Shake Shack, which opened in 2004, in NYC's Madison Square Park, has more than 220 locations in 26 U.S. states, as well as international locations including London, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Moscow, Seoul and more.
