Shake Shack is expanding its vaccination promotion in New York to all Shack locations in the U.S., excluding airports, stadiums and ballparks, to encourage even more Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19, according to a company press release. The NYC-based chain is giving customers who show proof of vaccination while in stores free Crinkle Cut Fries with the purchase of any burger or chicken sandwich.
The promotion first kicked off in New York last week and is part of Shake Shack's ongoing commitment to support the communities in which it operates, it said.
"Shake Shack has always prioritized taking care of our communities and we're proud to be part of their recovery, helping get more people vaccinated and back to gathering again," CEO Randy Garutti said in the release.
Shake Shack has 320 locations in 30 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, including more than 107 international locations.
