Shake Shack debuting hot, sweet LTOs

Summer is getting hotter and sweeter Thursday at Shake Shack when the chain debuts several limited-time offers, including the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, Hot Honey Bites and Hot Honey Fries, available through Oct. 4.

The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, a honey-glazed crispy chicken breast topped with habanero mayo sauce and shredded lettuce on a toasted potato bun, is the chain's spin on its classic Chick'n Shack, according to a company press release. The bites are made with chunks of whole-white meat chicken dusted with the Hot Honey seasoning and served with habanero mayo sauce, while the fries are crispy crinkle cuts also featuring the seasoning and habanero mayo sauce.

Shake Shack, which has nearly 300 locations, has also created a few LTO beverages — three non-alcoholic, cocktail-inspired Summerades and a duo of summer Shakes — including:

Lime Agave Margarita, made with real lime juice stirred with agave nectar, orange, jalapeño, smoked salt and cane sugar.
Pina Punch: made with real blackberry and caramelized pineapple stirred with fresh lemon juice, orange zest, and agave nectar.
Watermelon Mint Mojito, featuring fresh watermelon and lime juices stirred with mint, orange, white tea and cane sugar.
Cherry Pop Shake, inspired by a cherry cola float, it features vanilla cola frozen custard hand-spun with real Amarena cherry and popping candy, topped with whipped cream and cherry caramel candies.
Triple Chocolate Chip Shake, featuring chocolate frozen custard hand-spun with chocolate chip cookies made with milk, dark and semi-sweet Peruvian chocolate, it's topped with whipped cream and chocolate chips.
