Sellers Markets opens third San Francisco location

April 1, 2009

SAN FRANCISCO — Sellers Markets, a popular San Francisco fast casual restaurant, has opened its third location at 721 Market St., just steps from Union Square.

Sellers Markets sources ingredients from acclaimed California artisanal partners including Niman Ranch Meats, Earthbound Farms Organic Produce, Petaluma Poultry, and Equator Estate Coffees & Teas.

The first Sellers Markets opened in April 2005 in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District. The menu features fresh, high-quality ingredients, made-to-order items and house-made soups, breads, pastries and dressings. A second location opened in November 2006.

The San Francisco Mayor's Office and the SF Small Business Commission recognized Sellers Markets as one of city's Most Innovative Entrepreneurs of 2006.

In addition, Sellers Markets was recently awarded a "four-star rating" for its green business practices, where 90 percent or more of its food and beverages served are locally grown, sustainable or organic.

Breakfast items at all locations include egg "A" muffins, breakfast burritos and a variety of scrambles, all made with cage-free eggs. Lunches feature entree-size salads, house-made soups, hand-crafted Neapolitan style pizzas, oven-toasted sandwiches and a variety of sliders.
