Seattle-based sushi chain expanding through Cali

RKF, a real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services, has secured three first-to-market California locations for Blue C Sushi at The Dome Entertainment Center in Hollywood, The Village Walk in Tarzana and Fashion Island in Orange County, according to a company press release.

Blue C Sushi, which launched in Fremont, Wash., in 2003, provides conveyor-belt-style sushi. The company has since opened five locations in Washington and is now initiating its expansion within California's fast casual market. The first location in Hollywood at The Dome Entertainment Center opens Oct. 18, according to the release.

RKF Executive Vice President Rachel Rosenberg and Senior Director Robert Ury arranged the three leases on behalf of Blue C Sushi and developed a strategy for introducing and expanding the brand in Southern California.
