Seafood concept operator plans 'dozens' of NY locations

December 26, 2012

A limited-service seafood concept called Boneheads is planning to open "dozens" of units in the New York market. According to the New York Daily News, the first restaurant will open in Brooklyn in March.

The Atlanta-based brand will expand its presence in New York through its three local investors, former NYPD detective Jim Quinlan, restaurant operator Jimmy Sozomenu and construction executive Vito Garofalo.

Boneheads' menu includes grilled fish and its signature dish, Piri Piri chicken.

Boneheads was created by Raving Brands. It was bought by an Atlanta entrepreneur last year who is planning an "aggressive national expansion" for the current 6-unit chain.
