Scooter's Coffee has hired Malorie Maddox as chief marketing officer.
In her role she will lead teams in brand management, field marketing, digital social media and other marketing initiatives, according to a company press release. For nearly 20 years, Maddox worked as an investigative reporter, news producer and on-air anchor at WOWT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Omaha. She transitioned from news to the insurance industry, and most recently was chief marketing, communications and strategy officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield Nebraska.
Founded in 1998, by Don and Linda Eckles in Bellevue, Nebraska, Scooter's Coffee is approaching 600 stores in 28 states.
