Schlotzsky's recently announced company plans to expand throughout the greater Las Vegas area.

The bakery-cafe brand currently has three restaurants in Nevada, and plans to add at least six signed franchise deals in Las Vegas by the end of the year, adding to the roster of over 350 locations worldwide.

"The state of Nevada has already cultivated a loyal fan following and a strong brand reputation through the existing locations as consumers demand more convenient, fresh food options to keep up with their active lifestyles," VP of Franchise Development David Wheeler said in a news release. "We anticipate the same great success in Las Vegas that we've seen across Nevada as we continue with strategic growth plans in this targeted region of the state."

The new Schlotzsky's locations in Las Vegas will feature the brand's "Lotz Better" restaurant redesign, and co-branding opportunities with sister company Cinnabon.

Development plans in Nevada are a part of Schlotzsky's strategic growth initiatives across the nation. The chain is also targeting markets in Texas; Denver; Oklahoma City; Tulsa, Oklahoma; St. Louis; and Kansas City, Missouri.
