Schlotzsky's, Moe's Southwest Grill, McAlister's Deli report solid 2015 franchise sales

Schlotzsky's finished 2015 with nearly $320 million in system-wide sales, and also exhibited an increase in same-store sales, while Moe's and McAlister's also experienced a strong year, finishing 2015 with $641 million and $548 million in system-wide sales, respectively.

Schlotzsky's, Moe's Southwest Grill and McAlister's Deli, each franchised and operated by FOCUS Brands, saw franchise sales increases in 2015, according to a company press release.

Schlotzsky's finished 2015 with nearly $320 million in system-wide sales, and also exhibited an increase in same-store sales, while Moe's and McAlister's also experienced a strong year, finishing 2015 with $641 million and $548 million in system-wide sales, respectively.

"2015 was great for us in terms of sales and unit growth, and we anticipate even stronger results in the next year," said Schlotzsky's President Kelly Roddy. "We're thrilled about our growth potential and continuing our commitment to the success of our franchise owners."

Schlotzsky's 2015 highlights:

  • Opened 14 new restaurants and sold 44 new franchise deals.
  • Will expand into new markets, including Pensacola, Florida; Kansas City and the state of South Dakota, and will continue to look to develop Schlotzsky's national presence with qualified franchisees in Louisiana, New Mexico, New Jersey, Phoenix, and Chicago.

Moe's 2015 highlights:

  • Opened 68 new restaurants and sold 186 new franchise deals.
  • Entered new markets, and will continue its aggressive expansion this year with new restaurants being developed in significant markets, including Phoenix, Tucson, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Southern California.

McAlister's Deli 2015 highlights:

  • Opened 27 new restaurants and secured nearly 60 commitments for new restaurants.
  • Entered new markets, including Chicago, Rochester and Orlando, and will continue expansion this year with new restaurants being developed in Miami, Naples, Buffalo, and northern New Jersey.
