Santa Clara County adopts calorie count rule

KGO ABC7: Like New York City and several California counties, Santa Clara County, Calif., has passed an ordinance requiring fast-food restaurants to post calorie, fat and nutritional information on menus behind the register. The ordinance affects only the incorporated areas of the county, not its 15 cities.
 
The ordinance goes into affect Sept. 1.
