Sandella's Flatbread expands to Dubai

WEST REDDING, Conn. — Sandella's Flatbread Cafe has sealed a master franchise deal with Dubai-based foodservice management company, Abela & Co. Sandella's newest franchisee will open 12 restaurants throughout the United Arab Emirates over the next five years with the first location scheduled to open January 2009 in Dubai.

Founded in 1967, Abela & Co. oversees more than 120 foodservice management contracts in Dubai.

Sandella's has more than 125 open locations throughout the United States. This will be their first venture into the Middle East.
