California-based Sambazon, which serves acai bowls from eight cafes and is a key ingredient in bowls, smoothies and juices sold in over 30,000 retail supermarket locations, is offering franchising opportunities for multi-unit and single-unit operators.
"We've built a best-in-class supply chain for over 20 years," co-founder and CEO Ryan Black said in a company press release. "Now, we're ready to help franchisees thrive in this exciting market."
Sambazon, which owns 50% of the acai exported from Brazil, has eight locations of which seven are in non-traditional airports and college campuses.
Franchise investments range from $380,000 to $630,000 with an initial fee.
