Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill driving sales with food truck

Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill, with locations in New York and Connecticut, is rolling out a food truck program. The Salsa Fresca food truck program follows the restaurant chain's recent announcement of a franchise initiative, the goal of which is to create 100 new stores within five years.

The food truck will become a regular feature at special events throughout the New York and Connecticut markets, bringing Salsa Fresca to area festivals, concerts and other community events. The truck will also be available for private events, according to a company press release.

The food truck will carry a wide selection of Salsa Fresca's most popular offerings, including tacos, burrito bowls, nachos and more. The restaurant's "always fresh" concept will be reinforced in the food truck offerings, which will continue to use fresh ingredients, made on-site.
