Salata will open its first Spring, Texas, location at 11 a.m., Friday, according to a company press release

“Houston is our hometown, and our loyal following has allowed us to expand throughout the area and beyond,” said Salata founder and CEO Berge Simonian.

To celebrate the grand opening of the chain’s 43rd location nationwide, Salata will give a free salad or salad wrap and signature drink to the first 43 guests in line. It will also donate 15 percent of sales to the local Spring ISD Education Foundation, an organization that supports students and teachers of Spring ISD through scholarship and grant donations in an effort to enhance the quality of education.

“We encourage our new neighbors to join us on June 5 to support the Spring ISD Education Foundation and experience a wide variety of fresh, healthy options for a quick lunch or dinner on the go," Simonian said.

Located at 1600 Louetta Road, the 3,000-square-foot restaurant will feature a drive-up window, where guests can quickly pick up their online order from the convenience of their car, according to the release.

“Support of our local businesses helps the Spring ISD Education Foundation fulfill our mission,” said Edward Wade, Spring ISD Education Foundation President. “Salata’s commitment will build the health of our community, while its offerings will help keep us all healthy.”
