Salata Salad taps David Wheeler as chief development officer

David Wheeler has been named Salata Salad Kitchen's chief development officer, a new role within the brand.

Prior to his CDO appointment, Wheeler served as a consultant for Salata for four months and led processes and procedures for franchise sales and development, according to a press release. He also helped launch a CRM system and a digital interactive market planning program as well as a new franchise sales website.

"The addition of David as Salata's chief development officer is paramount to Salata's growth," Michelle Bythewood, president of Salata, said in the release. "David's drive and proven track record make him the perfect person for the role. His franchise sales and development expertise is invaluable to our team and our business. David has already been pivotal in our organization’s growth plan for 2019 and beyond."
