Salata nearing 100 units

Salata Salad Kitchen is opening its 97th location Thursday in Charlotte's Lower South End. The 2,600-square-foot store marks the city's third location, according to a company press release.

The LoSo Salata will offer guests fully customizable, built-to-order salads, wraps, soups, organic teas and lemonades. Fresh fruit, vegetables and lean proteins will be prepared and chopped daily in-house.
