Salata is opening its first Oklahoma City location Thursday at 12200 N. MacArthur Blvd. It will be the first Salata in Oklahoma and among more than 60 nationwide, according to a company press release.
"Salata is set to open six new restaurants in Oklahoma in the months ahead, but we are really excited and honored to be the ones to officially introduce our brand to the Sooner state," said Bryan Jones, Salata operator. "We’ve assembled a great team and we are ready to become an integral part of the Oklahoma City community."
On grand opening day, the first 50 dine-in guests at the new Salata will eat for free, and the chain will hand out coupons, tumblers and pens on Thursday as well. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win Free Salata for a Year.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Great Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Doors open to the public at 11 a.m. Salata will have a live DJ on-site and host a fundraiser during regular business hours benefiting the American Heart Association. Ten percent of the restaurant's proceeds made on May 18 will go to the organization, according to the release.
