Salata continues Dallas-area growth

Houston-based Salata, a built-to-order salad kitchen, is adding to its Dallas-area portfolio Friday when it opens a 3,300-square-foot location in West Plano at 1801 Preston Road.

Under the direction of franchisee Ryan Nickel, who owns three other locations, the store will offer dine-in and catering options as well as online ordering and mobile app orders via pickup and delivery.

"We've been serving the North Texas community through our Grand Prairie, Mansfield, and Mesquite locations, and are thrilled to have the opportunity to be opening our new Salata in West Plano," Nickel said in a company press release. "I live close to Plano and know firsthand how supportive and welcoming the community is, and I am excited to make Salata even more convenient and accessible to the area."

The West Plano Salata is the brand's 92nd and first of 2023.
