Salata broke ground this week on its first Atlanta restaurant, located at 265 19th St. NW, in Atlantic Station, according to a press release.
When the nearly 2,600-square-foot restaurant opens, it will also be the first Salata in Georgia and over 60 in its nationwide system. The company will soon begin hiring roughly 25 new employees for the new restaurant, which is projected to open in July.
"This is the first of 20 Salata restaurants that we plan on opening in the Atlanta market in the next few years," said David Henry, owner of Salata franchisee Unbeleafable Holdings. "After conducting extensive research on the area we are excited to open our first Salata in the heart of Atlanta's popular Atlantic Station Lifestyle Center. Many of Atlanta's most popular attractions are located within two or three miles of the new restaurant. We can't wait to share our tossed-to-order fresh and healthy menu with folks throughout the area. We're also looking forward to assembling a great team and getting involved in the local community."
