Saladworks signs 3-store deal in Chicago

Saladworks has signed a three-store agreement in the Chicago metropolitan area under the direction of Franchisee David Wojcik of Spring Grove, Ill.

"I love the concept of quick, healthy food choices," Wojcik said. "Saladworks gives me an edge because there's nothing like it around here."

The Chicago area is key for Saladworks' expansion; its location in O'Hare Airport is one of its most popular, according to Chairman/CEO John Scardapane.

"We can't wait to get started developing in the Chicago area," he said. "Our customers have been asking us for locations outside of O'Hare, and we think Dave Wojcik is just the person to help us expand Saladworks in Chicago."

The first store, set to open in 2012, will be in Schaumburg with the other two locations to be determined.
