Saladworks offers meal deal to mark new opening

Saladworks is opening its first location in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania. The new unit is in Stroudsburg, Pa., at the Shoppes at Stroud outdoor shopping center on Route 611, three miles from East Stroudsburg University.

To mark the newest outlet, Saladworks is offering $5 salads to all customers today through Oct. 24.

Stroudsburg's Saladworks is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, native to the area.

"We're excited to be the healthiest and most convenient dining option in Stroudsburg," John Scardapane, chairman and CEO, said in a press release. "From college students to lifelong residents, Saladworks is ready to satisfy everybody's hunger for guilt-free dining."
