Saladworks reported a 15-percent increase in system-wide sales in the second quarter, fueled in part by strong sales of its Springfit Salad and warmer spring weather, according to a company press release.
The spring LTO was recently extended into the summer due to its strong sales, which are also fueling franchise growth.
”The Saladworks brand is a nothing short of a leader in the fast casual segment,” President Paul Steck said in the releaase. “Together with a solid foundation built on customer satisfaction, strong core values and a powerful franchisee-franchisor relationship, Saladworks is poised to keep growing to meet the world’s hunger for guilt-free food.”
Saladworks is on target to open nine new stores in the U.S. and at least five internationally. New stores will open this summer in Rochester, N.Y.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Franklin, Tenn.; Virginia Beach, Va. and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
New stores are also slated to open this fall in Bowling Green, Ky.; Morgantown, W.V.; Boston; and Centerpoint, Mich.
Internationally, three new locations have opened in Singapore, Dubai and Canada. A second store is underway in Canada, and Saladworks plans to open its first location in Doha, Qatar in the fall. More than 100 units are slated to open nationally and internationally throughout the next several years.
