Russo's signs deal for Texas stores

Houston-based Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen has closed a multi-unit franchise agreement to grow the brand's presence in the Lone Star State with locations Galveston, Bender's Landing and Spring, a news release said.

The five-unit deal is was signed with local entrepreneurial couple Randy and Ayesha McCoy. Russo's also signed a five-unit franchise agreement to bring restaurants to Fresno, California.

The company has 50 stores in its system.
