Rush Bowls opening in St. Louis

Rush Bowls, based in Colorado, is opening in St. Louis later this month.

The new store, 227 N. Euclid Ave., will be the first of at least three that the franchise owners, Ken and Kim Moroney, plan to open in the St. Louis area over the next several years.
 
"We are truly excited to bring a unique concept like Rush Bowls to St. Louis," Kim Moroney said in a company press release. "The demand for a health-focused, trendy, quick-service restaurant was evident in St. Louis — we’re so pleased to have the opportunity to connect with those in the local community who, like us, are passionate about healthy and delicious food."
 
Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients, according to the release. Customers can choose from more than 40 signature bowls or all-natural smoothies made with fruit and vegetable bases, including acai, kale and avocado.
