Rush Bowls bowling over St. Louis

Rush Bowls is firing up the blenders in St. Louis. The Colorado-based franchise known for its meals-in-a-bowl has signed a multi-unit development deal for St. Louis, according to a company press release.

The first opens this fall store and is one of at least three that the husband-and-wife duo — Ken and Kim Moroney — will open over the next several years. Other targeted expansion areas include Midtown and Clayton.

"We are truly excited to bring a unique concept like Rush Bowls to St. Louis," said Kim Moroney, in the release. "The demand for a health-focused, trendy, quick-service restaurant was evident in St. Louis — we’re so pleased to have the opportunity to connect with those in the St. Louis community who, like us, are passionate about healthy and delicious food."
 
Founded in 2004, Rush Bowls offers meals crafted from all-natural fruit, topped with organic granola and honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients, according to the release.
