Rumbi Island Grill to open Utah, Calif., locations

Rumbi Island Grill is kicking off 2010 with the opening of one location each in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Logan, Utah. The Rancho Santa Margarita restaurant is scheduled to open in January, and the Logan location is slated to open its doors in March.

The LCW investment group, the franchisee responsible for Rancho Santa Margarita, has plans to open up to 20 more units in the Golden State. In September 2009, the California-based group opened Rumbi Island Grill's first California location in Mission Viejo. Presently the LCW investment group is in negotiations to obtain leases in La Habra and The Bluffs in Newport Beach.

The Larsen Brothers LLC will be the investors responsible for the Logan, Utah location. The Larsen Brothers also are looking to announce future Rumbi sites in Idaho next year.
