Rōti, a Mediterranean concept based in Chicago, has partnered with GetUpside, a retail technology company, to make cash-back offers available at its 42 locations. The partnership is part of the chain's larger focus on innovation and strengthening local communities in 2021, according to a press release.
 
 "COVID-19 has been a challenging time for both restaurants and consumers. At Rōti, our mission is rooted in always improving - getting better, going farther, and moving faster for our employees, customers, and communities," Nico Nieto, Rōti vice president of brand and marketing, said in the release. "By partnering with GetUpside, we can help our customers' dollars go further while sharing our bowls, salads, and pitas with an even bigger audience."
 
 In just three months, GetUpside has helped to increase revenue growth to Rōti locations, which Nieto said proved that the offers not only help his customers but the business as well.
 
 GetUpside, which is in 25,000 restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and convenience stores nationwide, matches new customers with local businesses and encourages them to transact using personalized cashback offers. The GetUpside mobile app delivers the offers, which incentivize new consumers to visit participating locations and existing consumers to visit more often, Arman Ghosh, GetUpside's president of restaurants said in the release.
