Romano's Macaroni Grill is expanding its fast casual "Kitchen Counter" concept to dinner.
Romano's Macaroni Grill rolled out the Kitchen Counter ordering option, aimed at budget- and time-conscious lunchtime diners, in 130 locations last October.
Romano's Kitchen Counter menu is now available to-go seven days a week, for both lunch and dinner. Dine-in is available during lunch hours daily, and Monday through Thursday for dinner, at more 137 Macaroni Grill locations nationwide.
"Honestly, we thought the Kitchen Counter concept was going to catch on quickly, but I'm pleased to say it exceeded our already-high expectations," said John Gilbert, president of Romano's Macaroni Grill, in a company press release. "We knew busy people would appreciate a fast, high-quality lunch without the fast-food experience, and they proved us right. So why wouldn't it work just as well at dinner?"
Romano's Kitchen Counter dinner menu options are priced at $9 each and are promised delivered to the guest in nine minutes or else they are free. Dinner menu items include Pork Belly & Chicken Carbonara, Prosciutto & Chicken Penne, Pesto Chicken Farfalle, Diavola Scaloppine and Chicken Milanese Panzanella.
Similarly, Kitchen Counter lunch options are offered at $7, and guaranteed in seven minutes or it's free. The menu includes salads, classic dishes-turned-sandwiches, pastas and specialty Calzonettos.
