Robeks announced the opening of its first traditional store at 1035 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia near the Jefferson University Hospital district.

The 1,000 -quare-foot walk-in store features Robeks' new Next Generation store design.

Owner Kimberly Berger also serves as regional director for Robeks, providing support for franchise owners in Philadelphia and the five surrounding counties. She opened the store along with Matthew Berger and Michael Fornaro.

The partners also introduced the brand's first-ever food truck to Philadelphia in July 2014.

"Greater Philadelphia is the perfect market for Robeks," Berger said in a company press release. "Our residents are active, they care about their health and they make a difference in their communities. They deserve -- and are beginning to demand -- healthy, delicious, and convenient alternatives to fast food."
