Robeks expanding in California, Kansas

Los Angeles-based Robeks, which serves smoothies, juices and acai bowls, will add eight units in Kansas and California via a three-unit agreement for Kansas City, Kansas, a four-unit deal for Riverside County, California, and a single-unit agreement in Glendale, California.

"Franchisees are finding at Robeks a combination of healthful offerings and a positive business opportunity that delivers value for the community and the franchisee. These new franchisees join a system of enthusiastic operators who appreciate the brand and enjoy running their own business," Todd Peterson, chief development officer, said in a company press release.

With annual unit volumes that average $898,685 for the top 50% of the franchised system and nearly $1.1 million for the top 25% of units, Robeks is attracting attention from new franchisees across the country, Peterson said. In 2021, system AUVs were up 38% over 2020 volumes.

Robeks, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021, has over 100 locations open and in development across 13 states and the District of Columbia.
