Robeks adds seasonal juices

October 8, 2013

Premium smoothie and juice franchise Robeks is taking its cues from the harvest schedule as it rolls out four fresh seasonal menu items for fall, according to a company press release.

Starting Oct. 14, the company's more than 100 locations will feature new fresh-squeezed, raw juices and a raw smoothie that use grapes and kiwi. Both fruits are in season, so they are at their peak in terms of both flavor and nutrition, said CEO Steve Davidson.

"Robeks customers want food that is fresh and at its absolute peak, and these seasonal menu items let us bring our customers as close to the fields as possible," he said. "Robeks never uses preservatives, so we often freeze ripe fruits and vegetables to preserve flavor and nutrition. The great thing about seasonal items is that they don't even need to be frozen — they are as fresh as if you had picked them off the vine yourself."

The seasonal items include:

  • Crisp Kiwi: A sweet and mild juice made with kiwi, parsley, apple and cucumber.
  • Fall Harvest: A nutrient-rich juice that is earthy and bold; made with grapes, parsley, kale, apple, carrot and beets.
  • Sweet Sunshine: A raw smoothie made with fresh parsley, fresh grapes, frozen pineapple and apple juice.
  • Fresh Parsley & Fresh Grapes Shot: A fresh-squeezed juice shot full of antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin C.

The chain has also created new nut clusters made with honey, maple syrup, flax seeds and the following listed ingredients.

  • The Mixed Medley cluster: Granola, cranberries, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.
  • All Nut Cluster: almonds, cashews and pecans.
  • Dark Chocolate Cluster: Almonds, cashews and walnuts with dark chocolate drizzle.
