Roasted sweet corn is focus on Modmarket fall menu

Modmarket rolled out its fall menu today, which will highlight roasted sweet corn.

Fall menu items include:

• Bacon Corn Pizza: The Bacon Corn pizza contains roasted sweet corn, crème fraiche, bacon, a three-cheese blend, basil and whole grain crust.
• Chicken Club: The Chicken Club includes chicken,  bacon aioli, white cheddar, basil, tomato, arugula and multigrain bread.
• Corn Chowder: Gluten-free Corn Chowder features sweet corn, roasted poblano chili, potato, onion, celery, red pepper, cumin, cream, rosemary and shallot.
• Balsamic Roasted Carrots: Features roasted baby carrots and a balsamic glaze.
• Southwest Tofu Scramble: Includes organic tofu, roasted sweet corn, black bean salad, pepper jack cheese, tomato sauce, avocado, roasted potatoes and multigrain toast.
• Fruit Salad: Includes fresh apples, pears, mango, strawberries and lemon maple vinaigrette.

"Our fall menu items take advantage of the sweet corn we are able to procure this time of year as well as heartier ingredients associated with the fall," said Chef Nate Weir, Modmarket's director of culinary operations in a company press release. "With this rollout we are all about adding a little spice, sweet and tang to shake things up while we ease into the cooler months."
