Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken opening 1st San Diego location

Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken is hosting a grand opening party next week to celebrate its first San Diego location, which opened last month, near San Diego State University. It is donating 10% of the grand opening day sales to Clay Elementary School, giving a limited-edition sticker to the first 200 customers and holding several drawings for free Rise food and prizes.

Franchisee Jason Kasid said he was ecstatic to be opening the SDSU location, the first of five locations planned for the San Diego area.

"We are excited to celebrate our grand opening in San Diego by donating to Clay Elementary and giving customers the opportunity to win free Rise," Kasid said in a company press release. "We know the community will love our scratch-made breakfast biscuits and Righteous Chicken for lunch. And the convenience of ordering online or at the kiosk for pick up in our heated lockers means your order is fresh, fast, and hot. Once you try Rise, you'll be hooked."
