Rise Biscuits takes on Tennessee

Rise Biscuits Donuts is opening in Tennessee, signing a seven-unit deal with each opening over the next seven years. Real estate options are being explored for the Nashville and Memphis territories for the first locations, according to a company press release.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to venture into markets that I enjoy with a product that I really love. I believe the biscuit and gourmet doughnut menu of Rise will excel in Tennessee," said franchisee Fred Fordin.

Rise was founded in 2012, in North Carolina.
