Red Mango to expand So. Fla. presence

Red Mango opened its first Florida location earlier this year in Gainesville to record turnout. Now the company is poised to add 12 more locations throughout the state.

Red Mango has signed franchise agreements with two Florida-based entrepreneurs: Phil Okun and Enrique Aguerrevere.

Okun has signed a development agreement to open five stores, starting with the first Red Mango in Boca Raton, and Aguerrevere has signed a three-store agreement for the Miami area.

Okun and Aguerrevere join Florida franchisee Terri Keogh, who opened the state’s first Red Mango last March. Keogh plans to develop five locations total, and will open her second store later this year in Tallahassee.
