DALLAS — Red Mango has announced national expansion plans set to begin in the Dallas-Fort Worth and New York markets.
To launch the campaign, the company will host a series of Franchise Growth Information Seminars, to be held in New York on May 4 and Dallas on May 11. The news follows the recent opening of the Red Mango Franchising Co. in Dallas to support the brand's national expansion from a central U.S. location.
Red Mango grew to more than 40 stores across the United States in 2008.
"Despite the economy, we're experiencing the strongest franchise growth in our company's history," said James Franks, vice president of franchising. "And our commitment to enter and expand in these markets with the right franchisee is already supported with our new franchise offices in Dallas. We will double the size of our franchise network this year, and our efforts in these target markets will be instrumental to that success."
Following Dallas-Fort Worth and New York, events are in development for Seattle and Los Angeles.Red Mango has opened five stores in the greater-Seattle market, has nine stores in the Los Angeles area and 10 stores in New York. The first Dallas-Fort Worth location is expected to open later this year.
Red Mango plans to open as many as 550 locations across the country over the next five years.
