Red Mango celebrates 200th store

Five years after opening its first location, Red Mango is opening its 200th location. The store at 10868 Kuykendahl Road in The Woodlands Crossing Shopping Center in Woodlands, Texas, will start serving customers this month and features eight yogurt machines serving 16 different flavors, the most of any Red Mango location in North America.

The store also graduates franchise owner Jay Randle to the title of multi-unit owner/operator.

"When it's a great product like Red Mango, everything is right," said Randle, who opened his first Red Mango at the Market Street Shopping Center at 9595 Six Pines in The Woodlands in 2009.

Randle has a three-store development agreement and is already looking at sites for his third location. He credits the brand's core product of all-natural, kosher, gluten-free frozen yogurt that is rich in probiotics for much of that success.

Red Mango has stores in 30 states across the country and in Mexico and has locations in development in four more states.
