Red Mango Cafe and Juice Bar opening in Illinois

Lifelong Oak Park, Ill., resident Jim Taglia and his wife, Anneke, will open one of the first restaurant prototypes for a Red Mango Café and Juice Bar, according to a company press release.

The new unit, opening June 2014 at 1044 Lake Street in Oak Park, Ill., will serve healthy café meals under 500 calories and fresh cold-squeezed juices in addition to the frozen yogurts and parfaits from Red Mango.

"I am very excited to bring the Red Mango Café concept to the Oak Park community," said Jim Taglia. "We have been interested in this brand for several years and have yet to find another brand with the same products and services Red Mango offers to customers looking for healthy alternatives.
