Red Mango builds Austin, Texas, presence
August 12, 2009
Red Mango has plans to develop six new units in the Austin, Texas, market as part of a franchise development agreement the company has signed with Ramiro Valadez III of Ramstin Enterprises in San Antonio.
The agreement calls for locations in Travis and Williamson counties, of which the first unit is expected to open in early 2010 near the University of Texas campus.
Last month Valadez, who also has a six-store Red Mango development agreement for the San Antonio area, opened Texas' first Red Mango store in San Antonio. The grand opening attracted more than 1,100 people, and Valadez anticipates a similar strong reception in Austin.
Red Mango opened its first store in Los Angeles in July 2007 and has 55 locations now open.
