Rapid Fire Pizza intros vegan 'sausage' pizza

Kettering, Ohio-based Rapid Fired Pizza is upping their vegan focus with the addition of a vegan pizza that the brand said is timed to coincide with the Christian religious season of Lent, when many of the faithful refrain from meat, particularly on Fridays. The brand said in a news release that the pizza features Rapid Fire's vegan pizza dough, cheese and now the addition of Morning Star meatless sausage.

"We constantly monitor what the public is looking for and try to deliver the tastiest options on a consistent basis," Ryan Cancino, Rapid Fired director of operations, said in the release. "We tasted products for several months before deciding that Morning Star was the perfect complement to our vegan crust."      

Rapid Fired Pizza also features a nutrition calculator on its website where customers can see calorie and nutrition totals for their specific pizza combinations and other items. Rapid Fired has more than 30 locations in five states.
