Raising Cane's appoints CFO

BATON ROUGE, La. — Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers has appointed Carey Carrington as chief financial officer of the 70-unit chain.
Carrington will oversee the company's finance, accounting, information technology and purchasing functions. He will also work with the leadership team in the areas of legal and risk management.
Carrington most recently served as president and CFO of Fired Up Inc., the operator and franchisor of Carino's Italian Grill, and continues to serve on its board of directors. Prior to that, he held CFO positions with California Pizza Kitchen and Spaghetti Warehouse. Before entering the restaurant industry, Carrington spent 14 years in investment banking, completing more than 50 transactions including public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions.
Carrington earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Indiana University and a master's in business administration in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago.
