Qu, MarginEdge integrate to give restaurants daily profitability insights

Restaurant software providers MarginEdge and Qu have integrated their platforms to give restaurant operators daily, real-time profitability insights powered by artificial intelligence.
The partnership combines Qu's point-of-sale data with MarginEdge's back-office and accounting platform to create a comprehensive view of performance across restaurant units. The integration is designed to help operators make quicker, data-backed decisions and address issues without waiting for traditional month-end financial reporting, according to a press release.
"Waiting until month-end to know if you've made money is no longer an option," Bo Davis, CEO and co-founder of MarginEdge, said in the release. "With Qu and MarginEdge together, operators can see profitability daily at any scale and look forward with our AI-powered sales forecasting tool — allowing them to spend less time in the back office."
Qu's POS data will flow directly into MarginEdge's AI-powered sales forecasting tool, which increases the accuracy of predictions, enabling better purchasing and staffing decisions.
The integrated system also provides access to MarginEdge's network of 15 accounting platforms.
Ben Pryor, vice president of strategic partnerships and insights at Qu, said the collaboration delivers real value for customers.
"By combining Qu's data-rich commerce platform with MarginEdge's inventory management, invoice processing, and AI-powered forecasting, operators gain deeper insights that help pinpoint where their margins stand and respond quickly in today's competitive market," Pryor said in the release.
The companies said operators may connect Qu with MarginEdge quickly, gaining cost insights in a matter of days.
The integration follows a period of growth for MarginEdge, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, secured its 10,000th customer and expanded its suite of AI offerings.
