"We're giving enterprise operators a new strategic edge — literally and figuratively," he said in a company press release.. "We're laying the foundation for an AI-enabled future where technology itself becomes a critical part of a restaurant's competitive edge."
Benefits of Qube include:
Qu, which pioneered edge computing in restaurants in 2021, said the platform boasts 99.99% uptime, and that after implementing it, Taco John's saw 80% faster order routing and Dave's Hot Chicken reported 100% uptime during critical launch weekends, securing over $100,000 in revenue.
Qube is available in two series: Qube A (stability, uninterrupted operations) and Qube E (proactive energy/equipment monitoring). A Qube IQu series, featuring real-time AI inference for advanced capabilities like voice and vision AI, is expected in early 2026.
"Qube represents a new class of restaurant infrastructure," Darien Bates, Qu chief product officer, said in the release. "It blends physical systems awareness, edge computing and intelligent automation to unlock smarter, safer, and more resilient restaurant operations."
