Qdoba Mexican Eats is planting flavor flags in the Detroit area with three new restaurants in Troy, Belleville and Royal Oak.
The first new restaurant opened its doors in Troy on March 14 at 301 E. Big Beaver Road, followed by a second new Qdoba in Belleville at 10889 Belleville Road, on March 16. When the third restaurant opens in Royal Oak on March 26 at 30754 Woodward Ave., Qdoba will have 60 locations in the state of Michigan, and 30 in the Detroit area, according to a company press release.
What are Flavor Flags?
To celebrate the restaurant opening in Royal Oak, Qdoba is planting 100 Flavor Flags bearing the Qdoba logo and #FlavorFlags throughout the local community. Through March 26, customers who find the flags may bring them to the new store on opening day to win a prize with the first 13 people winning free burritos for a year.
"We’re excited to introduce the Flavor Flags promotion to Detroit and invite residents to participate in this unique grand opening celebration," said Jessica Salrin, senior brand manager of New Markets. "With our welcoming environment and bold, flavor-packed menu items, we’re confident that our customers will love the new restaurants."
